AS of right now the 5x8x24 muffler is just as loud as the 5x11x28 true dual set up. Magnaflow told me the muffler being almost 2x the size of my 5x8x24 should be a lot quieter and we just started it up without tips coming out the back and sounds just as loud but deeper. hopefully when we run 3 inch tips to the back of the truck it will quiet it down.

Ill have a update shortly.

My single in/out 3" Magnaflow is bairly louder than stock at idle and on the road. At WOT it soungs mean. The K&N FIPK actualy is louder and makes more noise than the exhaust around town.

2.5'' duals, catless, with Dynomax Internal X muffler.
No real drone, or resonance.
But, very very loud. Everyone will hear you.

I got my dual setup done this weekend. Went with dual from cats to the muffler (no xpipe), using the magnaflow DIDO muffler. Sounds mean as sht! ...although a little louder than I hoped for inside the cab.

SnakeEater (rattlers, no doubt), may see u around town somewhere.
One day I'll post a pic of the truck in my sig.

I have the 5x11x28 true x muffler, I swaped out a flowmaster 50 series for it. Didnt notice any improvement in performance but it sounds amazing. Not to loud but loud enough for someone to know it has *****. I also run Long Tubes so that might make it a little louder.

yah the magnaflow 5x11x28 is the biggest muffler they have but they also told me since its a dual set up and a x pipe its going to be a little loud. well we will see how loud its gonna be when the pipes are on but for 100 bucks shipped this muffler is the best way to go.
