magnaflow sounds hollow

My magnaflow sounds hollow when I tap on the case.Has anyone ever had a magnaflow loose it's packing?

Dr X blew out his Magnaflow packing - Of course he was running dual TVS 1900s!

I think after awhile the "packing" goes away in a sence lol..I have a 30" magnaflow on the tahoe from the tbss and it has gotten louder on the tahoe than it was the ss..

Its got 20k miles maybe..

Any strait through muffler is going to get louder over time, yes packing will blow out..
