I am wanting to do this muffler(but flipping it around), but I would like to hear it. I have 2.5 in true duals. I would like to make it a single 3inch dump after the muffler. I also like my trucks pretty loud . if anyone has any comments or sound clips on a v8 with this done catalatic converters or non. I plan later on adding a x pipe and probably some LT and cutting off the cats. any ideas are greatly appreciated.

 

I justed install my Magnaflow cat back yesterday, I think that is the same muffler that came in my kit, it has a perferated x inside of it, so you don't need an x-pipe, mine is louder than stock with 2 resonaters installed. I also have Dynatech Supermaxx headers. Without the headers I think it will be loud. I think 02 Denali has that same one without the resonaters.

 

actually this doesn't have the x in it. the perforated x is 2 in 2 out this is 2 in one out.

 

Thats what I thought, Thanks for your help. Mine is loud, without the resonaters you will be LOUD. I think the Magnaflow is the best sound, I am very impressed compared to a Flow junk. I wonder if the SS cat back will work on your truck?

 

it's exactly the same. everything is the same even suspension except I don't have a front transfer case. I wondr what the weight difference is in an SS and a VHO? I like it loud, my regular cab that the wife drives has (2) 1 chamber flows dumped, x pipe no cats. talk about freakin loud.

 

That muffler with no resonaters and an X-pipe will be loud, you are on the right track. I can't post any clips.
