Default Magnaflow Cat Back

Do you think that the Magnaflow cat Back, part# 16720 will fit on a 2008 sierra denali ?? I like a lot the sound of magnaflow without too much interior resonance, but they just havn`t make a cat back especifically for the 2008 sierra denali

I have a 08 Sierra Denali and bought the Magnaflow 3.5"in Dual 3" out muffler and some of their exhaust tips and took it to an exhaust shop. Was cheaper than a catback system and I think it sounds great. Not sure of the muffler # though. Sounds even better with my K&N.

ok thanks a lot, did you get dual rear exits or how did you get your exhaust done ??, also do you think a magnaflow of 4 in, for a diesel, truck will work ??

Yes, I got dual 3.5" Magnaflow tips that exit at an angle behind the rear tires. As for the 4" diesel muffler I have no idea if it will work. I'm sure someone else would know more than me. The reason I got the 3.5" muffler was so it would fit the stock 3.5" pipe better. Its a good sounding muffler too.

the magnaflow kit will fit your truck, only issue is pipe size ahead of the muffler.
the kit has 3" pipe and the pipe on your truck is slightly larger, you need to leave the oe flange and flex in place and cut the front section off the m/flow pipe and attach to stock pipe behind the flex
not ideal, but you get the m/flow muffler and mandrell bent tail pipes that way, along with the stainless clamps and oe type hangers that come with the kit
