I love my magnaflow cat-back......3", all stainless with mandrel bends, sounds great...quiet at idle & mean when you romp on it.

IMO Borla is way over priced. i am personally going with magnaflow on the vho but I mam not getting a cat back jsut a muffler dumped and then an x pipe and take off the cats when I get a tune. Go with the magnaflow.

I have a borla SI/DO 2.5inch system on my 04 EC 5.3 which I am about to replace with the magnaflow SI/SO 3inch system. The borla is a very quiet system so if your wanting something with some rumble I would not suggest it. The quality of the system was great and it does not resonate in the cab and that is definitely a plus. As far as performance you don't really get much from an exhaust without other mods but the performance with it felt better than with the 50 series flowmaster I had on prior to the borla. I posted a few days ago as to whether to go with the corsa system or magnaflow and it was pretty one sided in favor of magnaflow. Hope this helps. Good luck with your decision.

does the borla have a little rumble outside??? i think the borla with be perfect for the wife's truck since she dont like the rumble inside.... but for my truck I am leaning more towards the magnaflow, I've just heard too many good stuff about it....... which one has more rumble inside borla/flowmaster 50 series???? I appreciate the help...

here is a pic of my borla. i love the looks, no cab noise, and performance. the dislikes is the price, and lack of aggressive sound. i got a great deal so i couldn't pass it up. i payed about $400 for it new

my next truck will have a corsa. pretty costly too

Borla XR1. Its alot louder than my friends tiny Magnaflow muff.. NO FLOWMSTERS!!! For the love of god no Flows. I went through alot of **** before I bought my exhaust. Took me 3 months to decide. Magna sounded cool but was way too quiet for my tastes. The plain old Borla truck cat-back comes with a pretty dam quiet and HUGE muffler. Thats what sucks. I swapped mine out for the 12" XR1, wanted it louder.

Don't get me wrong the borla still sounds nice and has some rumble to it its just not a real deep tone. My wife however thinks its perfect if that helps you any and she couldn't stand the 50 Series due to it resonating in the cab so much.
