Not trying to hijack the thread... but does the single in/out Magnaflow sound louder or quieter than the muffler pictured above?

Plus I need to do something about the crappy 2 into 1 tail pipe.

I ordered the maganaflow today, $139 delivered to my front door.
I got a single in single out magnaflow about 2 weeks ago installed with a turndown for $120 with tax.

I've had Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Magnaflow with glass packs (to kill the drone), Spintech and now i am going to a dual in single out Magnaflow and a resonator if necessary.
Corsa won't drone. Not even with long tubes and no cats. Quiet while cruising but too loud and raspy at WOT with no cats.

Jeanyus- Just so you know, one of the two outlets on the stock muffler does nothing it is blocked off in the muffler. Also the inner diameter of the stock piping is 2 3/4 not 3". I had that magnaflow muffler on mine when it was stock, actually it is back on now.. Stock there was no poping or anything it sounded good, not real loud but good. I put that muffler back on when I did LT's and ORY and it was very loud in boost so I added in 2 bullet mufflers and it sounds great now..

Wow a Maganaflow muffler with turndown installed for $120 ! (No offense but was the guy who installed it named Goober Pyle?)

10 years ago I paid $400.00 to have 1 flowmaster put on my 91 Chevy.

Slowhoe thanks for the video clip if mine sounds like that I will be satisfied.

I'm gonna have the Maganaflow installed, with 2 new tail pipes and turndowns, if it drones or resonates I'll have to add bullets or resonators.

Holy crap $400 for 1 flowmaster installed! I've never paid more than $250 for an entire custom exhaust system to be run and it was quality work.
Costs of living differences negate the price differences. High land costs mean high building rent and $400 flowmaster installs .
Just because my exhaust man makes $10 an hour doesn't mean he does less quality work or live a lower std of living than yours that may make twice that. My property taxes were $194 last year.

Oh yeah, Jim Neighbors and George Lindsey were both from Alabama.

We have a nice state income tax and 8-9% sales tax, even on groceries so it all comes out in the wash right? I know I paid $3200 in state income taxes last year. But my little cracker box house payment is $600/mo on 15 years And in a very good school system, well that doesn't matter, no kids. More money for toys. oh and beeeeeer
