Default AS&M headers are in

Well, they finally showed up after 5 weeks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

install was pretty straight forward for an on your back in the drive way job <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I weld up the y-pipe tomorrow w/ the CAT's removed and we see how they are w/ the full exhaust on there.

But i did get to drive home open headers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

hard to judge SOTP improvement as my fuel trims maxed out within 2 or 3 minutes of running. Too much fresh air getting to the sensors.

In any case they should add a little more noise to my dynomax

You will notice more noise from loosing the cats than from the headers. That is why I retained mine when I put my Hamms on. I did mine at the shop so I never got to hear mine with open headers. I wish I would have at least cranked it up though.

My ASM's actually quieted mine down under normal driving.

As far as how much, ASM's usually go in the $720 to $750 range. Of course, I didn't pay that much. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

I'm very pleased

Got the ORY in today, a couple 2 1/2" straight pipes on the stock Y-pipe and out came the welder <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

There's a noticeable difference SOTP and with the laptop. Picked up about 20 g/s peak air flow w/ the headers alone. and a noticeable gain through out the RPM band. Not too bad.

w/o the cats the dynomax screams at WOT <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

FWIW, i got them from Tbyrne when they had a special on them. Under $700 shipped i believe
