Default Lt's vs. Shorty's

Which one is better long tube or shorty headrs, for low end torque? And who carries them? Has any one heard of Belanger Lt headers? Need some help.

They make some for SS trucks. They're expensive as ****.

Don't go with Belangers. They have 1 3/4 primaries and you'll lose all hope for low end torque.

Thorley's are designed just like the Belangers but with 1 5/8's primaries which is great for a "stock" or "tow" rig.

EDIT-They both have a tri-y setup, but Thorley has been doing the Tri-y forever now.

What about Pacesetter LTs? Its hard to beat the price, but how's the quality? Do they leak more than the more expensive ones?

It's not so much them being longtubes as it is the 1 3/4 primaries. Because of those, your low end is going to suffer on a stock truck but your top end will be sweet.

If you're going to go with headers and you only want low/mid range power get some mid lengths with 1 5/8's primaries.

Also, don't even bother with shorty headers.
