LT's for my truck
#1
alright i've got a question about longtubes. I'm going to keep my truck now so i'm going back to my original plan of getting longtubes. Which is the best brand quality wise. I've seen Pacesetters that could fit my truck, Hooker, Arizona Speed, and Supermaxx. I'm not sure if i need a y-pipe because i heard the stock cats flow pretty well already. so..which would yall recommend? thanks

good thing you came back to your senses about keeping your truck!!
I would seriously consider the pacesetter's w/ORY, if for any reason you want to sell your truck again, you can put your whole OEM exhaust back on... I dont think it is worth cutting the cats off and welding them again to the longtubes...

Im not knocking the pace setters, but the hookers look to be made better and the coating looks like its higher quality too. Im gonna go with the hookers. The pace setters are cheaper, but the hookers arent too awfully expensive either.

I can't knock the other ones but I have the pace setters and am very satisfied with the fit and finish and price. They went in like a dream. The other ones look nice aswell and i might have went with the hookers but they wasn't out when i got mine. I think you will be happy anyway you go, I havn't heard anything bad about none of them.

stock cats are fine unless you have alotta miles on them..
but with any LT you will have to cut the stock y to make it fit.. pacesetters have a ORP already made.
i love my asm's though
got them for like 300 used so i cant complain
