I wonder what version of the VSC you had? Some guys posted that there were two different versions. The old one was the one giving people problems but, the new version seems to have corrected all the problems. Maybe you had the old version.

I was just bragging to someone the other day about how well the Flexalite 282's, 6.0L radiator and 160 thermo keep things cool. I sat in traffic the other day for over an hour when it was 90+ with the A/C blasting and the temp guage never got above the half way point between 160 and 210. The A/C was COLD too just sitting there idling, it never worked that good with the stock clutch fan while just sitting still.

Before you get rid of the fans check to make sure you got the new VSC.

i had the 40 amper and omy stock fan does that well but when i had the flex's on i must say it stayed around 160-180

yes it is possible, and yes it will be controled by your computer by temperature settings. you will need ls1 edit or equivilent, or have a tuner activate the fan settings. i doubt it can be done with a hand held but im not sure. check the link below.

So basically when icall allen for my nelson tune he can make them work by my PCM

yes i believe so, he would also probably know what temps you would want the fans to turn off and on.

so are you getting rid of the 292 fan's if you do let me know, I could really use them and fix what ever happened with them.
