i am wanting to buy some lt1 efans for my 02 silvy. i know that i will need a harness from nelson to get everything working correctly. but what do i need to watch out for when buying some used lt1 fans? are they just all the same basic design as far as the lt1's go? need some info please!

 

Nothing really special about them. Just take a look at them, make sure they are not beat up, don't have rusted motors, and turn freely. LT1.s and LS1's are the same fan os other than the mounting plates on the LT1's have vents.

Just got done installing a set just like that Saturday to go along with my whipple setup , they will work fine .

I think most people are using the Nelson harness. Thats my plan.

 

Yes used a harness from Nelson's , it was a piece of cake , took longer to make the brackets for the fans than it did to wire them up .
