what kind of exhaust are you running? is it y into one? or are you running true duels with a x pipe/h pipe? what type of mufflers are you running? reason i ask is cause i just got my exhaust done today....set up= LT no cats back to about where the extended cab starts then h-piped and then into 2 bullet mufflers one each side....then dummped just before the bumper.....my set up sounds like ****..... its quiet when it idels and when you get above 2000rpm it starts to RAP like no ones busniess!!! Loud and sounds like crap.....

im looking to get a muscle car sound and have no RAP when i go WOT?

any sugestions cause i need to get this fixed im embaressed to drive this thing out!

I'm runnin L/T's with cat's dual 2.5 Into one dual 22'' dual out muffler with no dump's yet it has a nice low rumble at an idle no resonation at cruise and doe'snt call the cop's when I mat it but sound's damn good IMO. I bet if you put on cat's or run it out the back you will like it a lil more.

 

LOVE my corsa setup, sounds great and quiet in the cab, I have gone through MANY exhaust systems and I am by far hte happiest with this setup.

 

breeze does it have a rap to it like a hick rap!!!! you think if i get rid of the bullets and put a muffler in its place it will give it a nice tone and not rap!!!

 

slow....i know eveyone loves there corsa setup but they dont offer anything for the LT's back do they??

 

The bigger the muffler generaly the quiter and with you not runnin cat's you will want bigger so it will quiet it down some (look on magnaflow.com) mine has no rap the bullets usually do make that sound Corsa does not offer the first part of exaust after the headers but youre local exaust could hook it up for you I had corsa on my old Vette without cat's and it sounded damn good just a lil raspy nothing I couldnt live with.

You have to get a custom y-pipe built. But any way you look at it you are oging to have to get some welding done on your exhaust.

 

Hey man I know what it's like having exaust you don't like you feel like getting rid of it & crazy **** like that if I were you I would put the cat's back on but that's just me.
