Does that intake add any big performance... or is it kinda like an air intake (performance wise).....

on a 408 stroker yes sir it will add performance. with just some bolt ons and a cam--no it will not help.

So to break it down, this LSX intake will fit with just a few modifications such as coolant fent pipes have to be changed to LS6. Some people have to modify their water pump, but I did not. The LSX intake is shorter than the stock intake so it will fit under the hood. It looks really good on the finish product of my truck. Now as far as the power increase from it, I dont know cause its on a new motor and set up so it wasnt like a bolt on and dyno to see the gains, but I have done it on a corvette and it picked up quite a bit to the wheels which is why i decided to put on my truck.
