Default the LSX block

Id really like to do this build... and well since I cant get on the list for the block now I figured id gather as much information as possible. Beside the block what am I lookin at purchasing, head wise? What going to fit, Id love to have 600hp n/a around, and thinkin a 454 small block will be sufficient to give me room to play later on. Any info on doing this will help, tia guys

I think Mark(2004Denali) is working on this build and slowly gathering pieces.

I would get more info on the LS7 based LSX 6-Bolt heads, including when they will be available, prior to purchasing any heads. I wouldn't worry about cam specs until you have the rotating assembly in hand... as in committed to how big the motor will be. With an expectation of 600 N/A crank (or rear wheel for that matter) I would also be thinking about how much you will budget to fortify the rest of the drivetrain. Just some thoughts

14bolt is goin in the rear most likely unless I decide on a ford 9" and a 4l80e, but right now i dont want to put it on a budget, but I dont want to spend as much as I can either... lets say like 8000 or less for complete motor itself, see what I can do that. What is the news of the release for those...
