Default LSA camshaft

In the process of gathering parts for an engine swap into my dads 72 C-10, the 468 is out on an engine stand and we're prepping the little 4.8 to go in.

Ive found a bunch of parts laying around that we'll need and stumbled upon this camshaft that I ended up with a few years ago. Stock cam, part number 12623064 which is the factory LSA camshaft. Specs vs the stock LY2 cam look like this:

LY2: 191/190 .457/.466 114

LSA: 198/216 .492/.480 122.5

they are both single bolt 4x cams so that's no issue, the engine will have the covers off sitting on the stand. Any reason not to slide this one in? He's expressed wanting to possibly put a factory blower setup on this thing down the road since I'm sure he's counting on missing the Tq the BB had. We've already put a set of LS6 springs in it, but the stock ones should even be fine for that cam.

I know this is a n00b question. I've been out of the game a while.

It will work but that 4.8 is gonna be a major dog with that LSA cam and no boost.

That's pretty much what I came up with given the valve events. May just wait till the blower goes on. I do have an LS6 cam and the right cam gear here too,..... I've got too much junk laying around lol

I'm honestly not sure. I need to look up the part numbers. Is the later of the two the desirable one?
