If the rockers work out, I can't see any reason why a good set of Comp 918's or Crane duals wouldn't work.

So it looks like sanmdog or boon will be the first to find out...FWIW, tdrumm was the first to order one...he ordered one months ago and it was on backorder, now he's just been waiting to find the time to try it out. Guess if it doesn't work out for you guys, he'll just end up with a cool paperweight.

but the ls7 valve springs you can get the set for like $98 and there suppose to be good for some high lift like .600" plus. this is the reason i ask about it.

Ahhh, I hear ya now. Basically, will the LS7 valve springs work on the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, etc.? If so, they'd be a nice budget spring upgrade instead of having to use 918's or duals, etc. Good question, I'd like to know this too...I wonder if they're the same height, diameter, etc. I think I'll start another thread about it...

if these 1.8 stock rockers do work, what would it do as for lift on a stock cam.

I ordered mine on the 3rd and still haven't gotten a shipment notification. Special order items take a bit longer...

I'll give the gmpartsdirect guys a call and see if they can get me just one LS7 spring to measure up...

Divide your stock cam lift by 1.7, then multiply by 1.8. Stock cams are so small, I wouldn't expect a huge gain. Several people have dynoed stock cams with 1.8 roller rockers between 10-15 HP though, so who knows... Could be cheap HP for those not wanting to go through a full cam swap.
