Default ls6 or tr220 cam

i'm sure this has been asked a million times. i have a 2004 extended cab 2wd 4.8 auto. im looking for a cam. i have found a new 2002 ls6 cam and springs for $200 also looking at a tr220. this truck is a daily driver . along with the cam install im getting a nelson tune and cai. question is will the ls6 cam give noticeable increases? or will the tr220 be a better choice and what else would need replaced with the tr220? pushrods, stall? could i use ls6 yellow with it .

Being that you have a 4.8 in a daily driven extended cab truck, you may want to check out our 212/218 Camshaft. It will work with your stock converter, has a broad powerband, retains excellent low-end to get your truck moving off the line, and will be an extremely noticeable increase over stock. We can set you up with the 212/218 Cam, a PAC 1218 .600" lift spring kit, and hardend chromoly pushrods (length of your choice) for $599.99.

If you have any questions about anything, feel free to pm or give us a call!
