Default LS6 intake and TB too low, just thought of something

ok, so I just thought of something.I know the TB will hit the water neck on the trucks if you put a car manifold on if I'm not mistaken right?
So what if you put the TB further up the intake tube? Like build a custom TB spacer that will space it out enough to buy the clearence. Just a thought maybe one less obstacle.
Any feedback?

perhaps the spacer or adaptor would have to have an indention or sharp turn right off the bat to clear just depends on the space you have to work with. I'd have to see and ls6 intake in place to see how much room there is.

It could be done. From what I can tell it wouldnt be to hard either, assuming you have access to some Alum. and a tig welder.

Well, it's just a thought, but I guess everything helps right?
