Default ls6 intake?

Does the LS6 intake fit directly on a 5.3?

SEARCH, it has been done over and over.. You will need to mod the truck water pump or run a new style truck pump that the water outlet is pointing straight towards the front of the truck, or run a f body water pump if you do the f bod pump you need a spacer or have the pulley pulled out off the shaft about 1/2 3/4 to line up with your serp system.... You will need to run car injectors...

A lot of work for not a lot of gain, not worth the trouble IMO, and I know that many others agree. txsilverado had one of the more recent LS6 intake disappointments...I think he only gained a tenth or two, and he has a healthy set up that would have supposedly benefited from the LS6.

Yea, that new FAST truck intake looks like a nice item, I'm sure that it's big bucks, but if you've got the cash, and supporting mods that warrant an intake swap, I say go for it
