Hey Guys, I Am Wanting To Install An Ls6 Cam Into My Stock 4.8. I Was Wondering If The Valve Springs,pushrods,rockers Need To Be Changed. If Some Or All Of These Need Changing What Do I Want To Get(push Rod Length,rocker Ratio, Valve Springs)? If The Springs Need Changing, Will Gm Z06 Yellow Springs Work? Thanks Tim

 

the stock pushrods will work as will the stock rocker arms....get the LS6 (yellow Z06) springs...

 

Yellow springs, get some hardened P R, good to go. No need to do rockers or lifters...

if you have a new year model like the 07 and 08's i heard you need to get the gen3 cam gear also?

 

i have an LS6 cam in my 4.8L, trust me bro, its not worth the time and labor involved, the gians were minimal...
