I need some input on a ls2 swap into a 2001 chev sbrc that has a 5.3 .
I understand there is some sensors in diffrent locations and you can get a adapter harness for that.

What about the throttle body connections ? My truck has drive by wire now.
If it wont connect could i not use my intake and throttle body and use the injectors that come with the ls2 in my intake ?

As far as mechanical they are the same right ? I would have to use my accessories and brackets. Would the 5.3 ecm run the ls2 ?

I like the idea of the engine being lighter and the 400 horses is cool too.
