my friend has a '03 corvette and he's gunna take out his ls2 and putting in a new engine. he wants to sell the engine and i need one. But will an ls2 fit into a 1990 1500. and what clearance issues, if any, i will have

 

03 vette = ls1 and yes it will work.. need motor mounts, a pcm, wiring harness.. etc

 

right, sorry. but what if i were to get an ls2 or ls6

 

Well If Its A Z06 Then You Get Ls6.... Most Accesories Will Bolt Up.... Willl Need Correct Harness/pcm

 

ls2 and ls6 will work..
