Default ls1 vs turbo

Aite, i got a friend that has a V6 camaro and cant decide if he wants to turbo the 6cyl or just do a ls1 swap. he could build up the 6 and turbo and n2o it but im not sure wut would be a better bang for the buck. he said the turbo was from 3800performance.com and it said it was capable of up to 700hp. but on the otherhand he could go with the ls1 and get a cam and n2o and just build that up. any opinions?.....

IMO go with the ls1. then mod it later. that would be the best route. but there are some turboed v6's out there that are stout im sure. but for the long haul i say ls1.

I love it when people say. I'm buying a turbo and it's capable of 1000HP!!

What they fail to realize is that it will cost them a TON more money to make their engine capable of 1000HP. LOL

IMO, go with the LS1 swap. Sky is the limit then. Or better yet, just ditch the car and buy a used LS1 car. It'll probably be cheaper in the long run.
