I know that I'm going to have to get EDIT to put the LS1 into the Sierra. Since I've never messed with EDIT, I have a couple of quick questions. I'll be using the truck intake manifold and K&N FIPK, stock LS1 heads (maybe P&P), some sort of headers (FLPs or AS&Ms), TR 224 cam, Diamond forged pistons, and ARP fasteners (rod bolts, head bolts, etc)
*Will the truck computer be able to accept a higher rev limiter? I'm thinking that the motor I'm building will turn to about 6500. Will the tables be able to be changed in the truck PCM to allow for that high of a rev limiter?
*Can I delete EGR with EDIT? What about O2's?
*Can the MAF be re-scaled to the F-body specs?
*Are there any other electrical "demons" that I'm going to have to fight? Any of the sensors different between the two motors?
Sorry this is so long. Thanks for all the help so far!

Yes, yes, yes, yes and you shouldn't.
It should be a direct swap over. You can get a fbod .ls1 file and copy tables over to your .ls1 program. That way the maping stays right for your pcm.

You may have to get a truck oil pressure sensor. I did a LS1 swap earlier this year and that was the only problem I ran into. The truck oil pressure sensor is a one pin and the one that was on the LS1 I had was a two pin.
