LS1 Timing Tuner is in

......And I love it!
It was kinda confusing on the wiring with the nitrous silenoids, but once it was in right, I was happy as could be!
There are many things you can do with it,
but I mainly got it for use with nitrous.
Here is what I did with it:
My nitrous is on a WOT micro switch, the problem is, if I stomp it from out of the hole, I cant get traction with the nitrous spraying from the hole.
First, what I did with the LS1 Timing Tuner, was set the nitrous delay .8 seconds. After I hit the WOT Switch, it delays clicking the nitrous silenoids for .8 seconds.....just enough time to get the tires planted after taking off. The delay setting is adjustable, and will only activate once per run, or as long as the rpms stay above like 2000rpms.
Second thing I did with it was set the window switch to help save the transmission. The nitrous will stop spraying at 5900rpms, and will kick back on at 2750rpms so I won't be spraying through shifts. This is adjustable.
Third thing I did with it was set it to retard the timing right when the nitrous sprays. I have it retard the timing 5 degrees, but you can have it retard the timing as much as like 16 degrees I believe.
With this setting, I can keep the best tune for N/A (Nelson Tune) without running the truck too advanced with the nitrous.
i.e.-Having a Nelson Tune with his optimum tuning made me run dangerously lean when on the bottle, in fact, so dangerous, I quit spraying the motor. Now with the Timing Tuner, I get the best of both worlds. After the nitrous quits spraying, it IMMEDIATELY goes back to the N/A (PCM Controlled) tuning.
You can also have it advance the timing, and you can also set it to advance the timing with rpms, etc. The options are almost never ending with this thing. the fact that it has a built in window switch and activation delay is just another HUGE bonus to this tuner!
I am very happy with it, although, like I said, the wiring and setting it up wasn't for the faint of heart....lol!
TOTALLY worth $260 for the extra N/A horspower I can have when not on the bottle and to help save the tranny and help with traction problems out of the hole!

I bought mine for much less from www.prochargers.com for only $259.00
On prochargers.com, the part # is 518LS1TIMETUNE
You can also buy it from ThunderRacing.com
Of course, if you prefer another seller, usually they'll price match.
Here is a link to the page for the LS1 Timing Tuner on Prochargers website:

Plugging this inline to the crank sensor is the easy part, hooking it up to the nitrous silenoids was the part that threw me off.
