Default Ls1 Swap- Megasquirt Make It A **** Load Cheaper/easier??????

hey i was thinking- could i grab an ls1 and built 4l60e tranney and do a complete swap with megasquirt- it would save me a **** ton of money. do you think this is plausable with a 4l60e standalone controller?

right now if i were to do a complete swap of an ls1 and 4l60e/4l80e into something old i would go with bigstuff3. it has tranny control and will control the ls1 coils. by the time you add up the megasquirt and the stuff to do timing and a stand alone tranny controler and a wireing harness you would be a good portion of the way too bs3 and the bs3 would be easier.

if you did a stick or a tranny that didn't need controled then for me megasquirt would be the way to go and yes you would save some cash.

its going into a 2002 blazer.... .4l60e but the input shaft on mine is shorter than an ls1's therefore not being compatable besides i will want a built one. arent you using a built 4l80e? how are you controlling it? your running M.S.

so you piggy backed the M.S. and just left the stock cpu to control the 4l80e?
