can someone put me in contact with someone who has put a ls1 motor inplace of there 5.3... I'm itchin to put in within the next week or so.

is it a easy swap? what did your truck run with the ls1 in it?

 

There's nothing special about the swap. The only problem I had was that oil pressure didn't work with our connector. Never made it to the track with the LS1.

 

could you notice a big difference?

 

I put a 3000 stall converter in at the same time and it would launch like a bat out of hell! Being that the LS1 is almost 100 lbs lighter made a nice difference and also helped with fuel economy so the gas bill won't be as high as you'd think.
