Thats why I'm doing it. Its so weird standing back and hearing a camaro looking at a old lifted ram. Almost makes you laugh.

with full tank, 4wd, and exhaust truck is in at 4,060lbs.

500lbs lighter then the 440 setup

Lot cheaper to build an LS1 then any mopar engine. Nice project you got there.

been driving the truck all day and it sure does feel faster then the 440 ever was.

Alot of people thought it was going to seem sluggish down low vs the 440, but with it being 400lbs lighter, and the lower 1st gear ratio of the 4l60e..(3.06 vs 2.45 727) if feels likes it stronger down low and everywhere else.

You must have had one of those smog era 440's then, but still cool project and yea those older rams were LIGHT to say the least.
