well i definately dont have the money for a fast 90. and ive found an almost new ls2 for $150. so i just wanted to know if it would be smarter to look for a ls6 instead. and what does an ls6 sell for used on average? i just need something that will flow better than the truck intake for a decent price.

if the FAST is out, then go for the LS6. they generally run $300-350 used.

If that's all your after I've got an LS1 manifold I'll give you for the cost of shipping...it definitely flows better than the truck manifold above 5500 rpms and they're a dime a dozen anymore

Read this intake comparison in this post here. The LS6 intake does post ever so slightly better numbers up high compared to the LS2, but the LS2 makes better low and mid numbers. The scans are from Street Thunder magazine and shown on a 5.7L with 243 heads, a pretty hot cam, and long tubes making right around 500 HP in with most of these intakes.
