Has anyone dynoed there truck before and after installing the ls1 fan on a stock 5.3 motor? By removing the stock fan, how much rw hp do you think its worth? Or how about running an ls6 intake with an "01 corvette ls1 cam" what do you think the power/torque differences would be seen. Im running out of Ideas, and id like to dip into the high 12's with my 5.3

running out of ideas??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> i could think of many ways you could get in the 12s right now, not sure what your looking for though.
a 3000 stall converter and some et streets or maybe even drag radials would do the trick.
put a good cam in it, your even faster....
putting stock ls1 fans on it is good for ~5rwhp so nowhere near enough to get you to the 12s, but are kindof cheap so still a worthwhile mod
cutouts would be a good gain as well...
sweet truck though! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
