Well, hookin ur PC up to your truck would be a problem unless ur PC is located close to your truck in the garage or somthing..... Plus, you wouldn't be able to do any logging to see wha tthe truck is doing after the tune since taking a pc on the road is not really possible. I'd say get a laptop if your gonna get into it.

Talking

a laptop will be needed to do it correctly so that you can run it and get some logging together. if you go edit you will also have to buy some kind of logging software. if you go hp tuners then it comes with it. yes you can screw it up if you get brave and decide not to listen to others advice and bad stories. i have hptuners since i am always changing things. but i have a nelson tune. and i will always have a nelson tune. he's a sponser and very friendly as well as one of the best tuners. do a search and you will see. his site is in my sig. click on it.

Forget the pc.. you can get a used laptop with a serial port exclusively for tuning relatively cheap.
