Well, I wish I knew that before I spent $500 on HPtuner. WTF? So now what do I do? Do I have the dealership flash the PCM?

I think he is saying that since he has a Nelson tune he wont be able to look at the file. HPtuners will still read what is on the PCM Allen sends you. It will also allow you to log and see how the tune is working for you. You may have to spend a little time familiarizing yourself with the tables and what they affect. You will still have the ability to make changes and fine tune things.

Oh, I guess I misunderstood. So I can make changes to a PCM that was already tuned with edit?

Thats what I was wanting to clarify. Yes you can make changes after a custom tune according to Flyer and Greentahoe.
