Default lq9 vs lq4

So I need a new engine for my pickup and I was wondering what the difference is between a lq4 and lq9 performance wise.

Everything is pretty much the same. except the Lq9 has flat top pistons that give it about a half point more compression. I think the cam might be a little different but neither are very good stock. so i think factory the lq9 has about 15 more hp.

You going boosted or N/A ?

Common rule is LQ4 for boosted apps and LQ9 for N/A

My Lq4 cammed runs damn strong N/A though
