Default LQ4 Valve cover Question

So the '03 LQ4 I picked up came with valve covers and the driver side valve cover does not have a nipple like my '05 5.3 had for the PCV system. Its just a hole with a rubber grommet. Is there a fitting that is supposed to go in there? I could put the 5.3 valve cover on but the one off my LQ4 is already powder coated and my 5.3 valve cover still has a half inch of grease on it

If you're retaining the 5.3's PCV system, it'll be easiest to swap the valve cover and refinish it to match.

All I had was a hose from the valve cover, to catch can, to top of intake

It's for a replaceable PCV valve.
