Will a stock 2000 LQ4 flow ok through a single 2.75" exhaust?

Just fine.

Hell, a cammed lq4 made it to the 12's in a 5000 4x4 through single 2.75" exhaust

Thanks for the responses. I have a 2500 with factory dual 2.75" exhaust. Someone messed up the passenger side royally, and replaced the factory hi-flow cat with some cheap replacement. I would like to merge both sides into the factory driver side pipe. Then I can run a single electric cutout. Can I keep the factory muffler if I cap the passenger side inlet or should I see if the exhaust shop has a factory muffler they cut off a 5.3l truck?
