LQ4/ LQ9, LS2, 5.3, and 4.8 ?s

Is this correct, if using the 4.8 crank, =s High RPMs, not much bottom end, with high h/p, vs the a stock 6.0L = bottom end and mid to high h/p?
What heads to use, I'm not concerned with CC, as said, you can have the heads milled, or use raised pistons. Looking to use factory heads, with port work if needed. I'm big into using as many factory parts, just making improvement as needed to achieve the h/p and tq as needed. Cost is a concern.
Though about taking a 5.3, with D.O.D, boring it out to 4.0" bore, using a cam under .590 lift, and usual bolt ons.
Thanks.

3.9 is as big as you can go on the 5.3 block if you are going to go to the trouble of building amotor use good pistons and rods otherwise you are just chasing your tail. Get the pistons to match whatever heads you want to use. Remember when you mill heads you are weakening their deck strength.
