Default LQ4 or Cam and headers......

I'm not sure what to do here. I found a LQ4 close by me with 42,000k on it. They want $1450.00 for it. I had been planing on put headers and a cam in my 5.3 and that adds up to about $1300. What do you guy's think? Should I swap over to the 6.0L and drop the Radix on it? What's going to give me more? And either way I go I plan on some N2o. Would the 6.0L be better suited? It would be less a cam and headers but you know the saying. REPLACEMENT---DISPLACEMENT

Are there(if any)trouble spots, hidden costs, things to look for when doing a 6.0 swap. Or is it just a weekend flip flop and go?

Just make sure it's a 01 or newer. You want one with aluminum heads.

You can never go wrong with the 6.0L. Damn, you're going to have some serious money tied up in your truck! From January to now, I have about $7-8000 tied up in my swap, including tranny and labor. The bad thing is, I'm still n/a. Your truck will kick some major *** with the 6.0L and your other mods. What are you waiting on? Go get it.

$7-8000 you must be putting in a stroker. I'm sitting at about $25,000 in my truck right now. Which I don't think is to bad. I have got pretty smoking deals on everything I have done so far. It's good to have friends at wrecking yards!!
