Default LQ4 6.0 ?s

Hello all, been reading this forum for a while, just wanted to ask some ?s. I bought LQ4, 02 LS6 cam and springs. My truck is my sig, and I would like to have 6.0 ready one day for a week end swap. I read that the cam is small base cir., so I would have to buy different push rods. Since I have to buy diferent lenght push rods anyway, would it be worth milling the heads to rase compression? If so, how much can they be milled before I have have the intake milled?

I think your LS6 cam will bolt right in. Always get hardened push rods. Zo6 springs are reasonable, you will need some. I would not mill the heads to raise compression. But thats just me. I know very little about heads.
