Default Lq4 and 4l80e swap tips!!

Hey, Im gonna be doing a lq4 and 4l80e swap fairly soon. What lift plate has most guys been using when pulling the motor and trans out. is there any tricks or tips to making the removal and install any easier. I have been reading up and havent found too much. I would like to see a few pics, or even a sticky section for it. Seems pretty straight forward, just any ease of installation would be much appreciated.

not real hard we use a cherry picker with the truck on jackstands. Pics are sideways but just pick up your screen and turn it haha!

the way the truck was sitting on the stands it was hitting the firewall and we didnt want to reposition the chains just to get a lil bit of clearence! it worked perfect this way! idk we did the whole swap in about 6-7 hours chasing parts and everything(even tuned to drive it home)

We had to put stands under the truck and lift the front end then couldnt get the motor to tilt just enought so viola turn it sidewerds and poof it came out but the other one went in straight just a bitch to get lined up with the chains all janked up!

thanks for some advice. I see you just bolted the chains to the block. easy cheap lift plate. Anything need to be done with the AC pump and lines at all. Im gonna be taking the motor and tranny all at once so the front end will probably be coming off. Just for ease of install.

the compressor stays in the truck with all the lines hooked up (so ac doesn't have to be recharged)
