Default Low coolant message

After my truck has been running for about 30 minutes, the low coolant message comes up. The coolant is not low but the light still comes on. Anyone else have this problem?

How do you know it's not low? I would keep filling it till it over flows or the message goes off whichever comes first would be my advice. Mine comes on from time to time but never when it's not low.

My '99 would lose coolant sometimes and trip the light, but it was really low when it did it. My '02 has never done this. However, my dad has an Impala that has been through 3 bad coolant level sensors. The dealership could never find anything causing them to go bad.

Mine has never come on when it's warmed up, but it has come on when it's cold and I get on it.

Mine does this every now and then. When it comes on, I just shut off the truck and turn it back on and it goes away. It has only came on like 3 times in the last 6 months. Very random, I'm guessing bad sensor since my coolant is not low either.

Mine has come on a couple times and I fill it up. It hasn't done it since I put the 180 t-stat on last year. Maybe somethings wrong with the factory one ?

my buddy at the chevy house said it is just a sensor getting clogged up with trash. mine was doing it until they flushed it and it hasn't come back on since
