Default LOVE my exhaust!!

damn!!! i just finished with the Hooker LT's. removed the cats, put a true dual 2.5" setup with magnaflow x pipe and twin flowbastard 40 series..this thing sounds like a beast!!

i can really hear that cam now, it wasnt camming very much through the cats and single muffler. i may have to extend the pipes over the axle at a later date, i am getting a bit of drone at 70-75mph on the interstate......but damn....under acceleration, it sounds like a way bigger motor than a little 4.8.

i am very pleased! they fit very well also, if anybody ever wanted to run the Hookers.

i have always had a special place in my heart for Hookers.

Nice! i have hooker LTs with no cats, 3" true duals into an x then into 3" bullets... sounded cool for about 2 days, now it just gets on my nerves and is obnoxious so im putting 2 IMCO mufflers on it when i get it on the ext cab.

just to give you a feel for you improvement... i was running stock manifolds, stock y with cats, and a flowmaster catback... when i switched to the new exhaust my times went from 13.6-13.7 down to 13.3x and both days were around the same temp and my exhaust was the only new mod

I also have a set of hooker LTs, I like them alot, they extend way far back under the truck compared so some other headers out there.....

I have the pacesetter lts and ory pipe with duals and the slp loudmouth one series, so basically straight pipes. I like the sound with the windows up, but down it is too loud. I am going to change it up a little. I am gonna put a magnaflow muffler on it and a cutout for when I want it loud.

let me know when you redo that exhaust.... i may want something a little quieter eventually....i drive about 35 miles to work one way......it was getting a little obnoxious this morning. i may just extend the pipes over the axle and try that, and if that doesnt solve it then i will need better mufflers.

i was running the same setup as you before. it definately feels better now, but i need to finish tuning tonight on the dyno. i will post up the numbers tomorrow if i can.... i am gonna do an n/a run and a dry shot run< 100 shot >
