Okay guys, I'm glad to see everyone is tuning in.......I had my cats removed , then gutted and re-installed...for legal purposes......and have no muffler along with my ORY pipe.......loss of a little low end, sure....but still sounds good. So, I love the sound of the Hooker Aero, but I've never heard the Maximum Flow.....how's it sound

The Cats being in their might be hurting your performance alittle bit...

Tiburon knows alot about this..

Supposivley is causes turbulance..

i've the the hooker aeros w/no cats an an x-pipe dumped before rear axle, quieter than my flowmasters at idle, but screams at WOT, but i've got some cutouts to go on too, as soon as i get my LT's

I had a bullet muffler before my flowmasters and it was loud compared to my flows.

so whats the word on these max flows, there have been a few questions asked about them in a couple threads... but i have yet to see an answer. guess nobody`s tried them yet? you could always be the guinea pig... torque

I don't actually know who makes the blue bottles, all I know is that it was the smallest bullets that the muffler shop had and it sounds wicked once they burn out. And I still have my cats on, it gives a nice loud snap, the only thing i would have done differently was to go to 2.25" with my 4.8 since 2.5" is pushing it. The smaller you go, the more snap. And I believe that bullets are louder than flows once they burn out.

or light em up with lighter fluid, lol
like they use to do back int he day

gibson super truck.. my brother and i both have it.. sounds great at all rpms and it produced some low end. i bet they sound great with lt's and no cats.

For the record, my 3 chamber flowmaster muffler isn't the loudest, BUT I have set off car alarms with it.
