LOTSOFN HELP

Hey lotsofn, I read that you have a custom air intake tube. I have just bought a flexalite fan and am ready to customize a 4" tube. Can you tell me what yours consist of? Any pics? I have been trying to contact allen at futral but am having a hard time. Thank you for your help

thanks but here is the big question, how in the hell that big 4" exhaust pipe to seal on the mass airflow sensor?????? That is my main problem with a few ideas I had is how to attach to mafs. I saw some hose repair stuff, comes on a roll like black tape but it is basically a roll of rubber which bonds to itself. I was thinking about wrapping that around mafs to enlarge it to accept the 4" like the throttle body. Did you use your factory gasket on the trottle body for the 4" pipe at the trottle body? Thanks again for any help.

coonass, the couplings hes talking about are rubber. One is used to attach the pipe to the throttle body and the other is to attach the pipe to the MAF sensor.the couplings are about 3-4 inches long each. All you do is use radiator clamps at each joint to seal things off

thanks, I still don't see how that 4" rubber coupler is going to shrink to the mafs 3 5/8" diameter with a clamp. I've looked all over for reducers or even an inside diameter of 3 1/2" or 3 5/8" coupler to use as a spacer and can't find anything. Well I guess I'll be searching more on the web for the next few days.
Unless maybe ya'll know where I can get a 3 5/8" hose or coupler to use as a spacer. Everywhere I look there is just 4" and 3". Will a 3 1/2" stretch over that mafs?Maybe with soap or heat?

You may be able to have a muffler shop make you one with their expander tool. I plan on having this done for my Procharger setup eventually, as I understand they blow the intake hose off.

is it possible for the muffler shop to reduce the 4" a little or can they just expand? Also I am getting a mandrel bent 4" small radius elbow exhaust pipe 1/16" wall thickness, and a 1 1/2 foot staight exhaust tube. I wanted to weld them together and ceramic coat them, the only problem is that weighs about 5-6 lbs!! April 03 issue sport truck page 46 is the exact material and look that I want. Of course mine will not be routed all over the place like that. I was getting this from www.airflowonline.com they have aluminum tubing which weighs like 1 pound but they want you to use rubber elbows and stuff and to me that doen't look that great. I know it would be lighter but why rubber? If anyone knows where I can get a short radius aluminum tube elbow, I would appreciate it. Normal aluminum tube is no problem to find just that f@*ckin elbow is hard to find.
Does anyone know where I could send a straight 4" aluminum tube to get it mandrel bent? Anyone in Texas maybe? Thanks
