This is a little burnout/donut video...so you can kinda hear it from outside the truck under load.

That sounds sweet!! Do you think Borla has a deeper and louder sound than the Flowmaster super 40? By looking at the speedo, looks like you've got some power there. It got up to 80 pretty quick. Did you notice any difference in the high flows? I pulled the o2 sensors out yesterday, but still the same loss of power. I'm wondering if it's something in the throttle. The 05's have the new E- throttle. Yesterday my truck was running great. Today, like crap. It comes and goes, that's what buggin me. It hesitates at all speeds, but when it's running good, the throttle is very touchy. It's driving me crazy!!

You siad you had someone play with the pcm right?Did they remove all the tourque managment for you? That will hold it back alot.Mine went from not doin brake stands really to now smoking the **** out of tires. The TM would just take over on me.Also if your truck has traction control...some of them do some don't...but if you do then your truck also has an abuse mode.If it has that get that removed as well. Then other thing you could have done is tell the tuner to up your tables for random misfires. If the engine is getting misfires it will retard your timing and such...thus making it feel less powerful.
The poweraid throttle body spacer you have does not help your truck...i just looked at your sig for your mods. Those things work only on older vehicles. On the new ones like yours/mine...any New body style really they give zero enhancements and can sometimes hurt your power.
On my exhaust I haven't really heard to many flows honestly...i coudn't tell ya how it would compare to my Borla. With the high flow cats i ahd them all installed at the same time. The headers i went with provided them so hard to pinpoint that as any increase since i ahd the headers done with them..

How are your plug wires? The stock plugs themselves are kickass no need to touch those. But a good set of wires helps out a decent bit.Look into MSD or Taylor.
It really just sounds like a TM thing or abuse mode problem to me.
Since you redlined it and it shut down have you ever unhooked the battery to let the computer reset?Might be a shot in the dark but worth a try if you have not done so.I forget how long it has to be undone but I'd give it at least 10-15mins to make sure.Again might be a long shot but what the hell.

My tuner did take out the all the torque management, and I don't have traction control ethier. Even they can find the problem. I can't believe that something doesn't show up on computer or dyno. They dynoed it at 267rwhp and 297 lbs. of torque. That's with it running like crap. I'm not sure if these numbers are correct with the mods, I have. but it seems like I would have more than that. I'm wondering if it could be the timing, like you said. One day my truck has power the next day it doesn't. I have been noticing that at idle sitting at a stop light, the idle will climb to about 800 rpms without the a/c running. It hasn't done that before, could that be somthing they programmed? Yes, I unhooked the battery over the weekend for 1 hr. and that didn't work ethier. How can the throttle body spacer hurt the power? If anything it will get better swirling air right? I haven't tried a new set of wires yet, but I'm getting desprite. These new trucks and their computers suck, they don't make hod rods like they use to.

I am having a similar issue? I was able to spin'em at will until I swapped my TC(2600 for 3000). Now with a 3000 rpm stall i cant get them to budge. Feels like just enought power is getting to the wheels to hook and that's it. Overall performance is great-just launching is the problem.
I dont have all the TM removed, actually my Tuner advises against removing all of it. I used to have traction controll and its almost what this feels like (without the abs stutter) but i dont have traction controll in this truck.
Could it be anything else?

Is you motor running ok? Or is it the tranny? See mine doesn't feel as strong when its acting up. It hesitates alittle, When its strong, its touchy. I guess a good word would be . "It's effortless " when running good.

It's intermittent so it's probably something electronic....maybe the throttle body or tac unit (next to the brake booster) they mention or possibly the pcm...just guessing. It's still under warranty, right? Good luck.
