LS6 heads! Sweet!

Wonder how hard it would be to use the new intake/TB with the return-style fuel system. Or would the TB even work--aren't the DBW?

I was thinking about buying a 2500hd soon. But I'am kind of scared to buy it now. When do you think we will see the ld2 in the 2500hd trucks? what do you think the hp and torque will be ?

never heard of the LD2, but as for the LS2 i don't expect it to ever make it to the real trucks (i don't consider the SSR any kind of truck). if it makes it to the trucks at all i think it'll be only in special editions.

Converting would be a pain. Yep, you can see the DBW solenoid on the TB assembly picture.
Sure like those specs tho, 390hp/405trq for the 6.0L. Let the HP wars begin! Just have GM come up with some catchy name like "Hemi" and I'll join the bandwagon for sure

at 310hp for the top offering in a half ton unless you get an SS which is only 345hp, the hp wars aren't favored by gm in any way shape or form. dodge beats gm with the dakota, durango, and fullsize trucks in hp. they don't peform as well as gm's, but in hp wars gm isn't even close if you take out the low production pleasure vehicles.

It was a typo I meant ls2. Kind of off topic but is it possible for me to obtain a gms discount? What all is needed? I know with fords xplan, a employee can give away something like 2 discounts a year. Is it the same with GM? Don't worry not looking at buying a ford, drove it and hated it.
