Looking for a muffler
#1
On my 5.3 I currently have short tube headers, no cats, true dualed with two 17in. glasspacks...yes its very loud and lately I've been thinking about switching it up again, I like the loudness and the crackling, but the packs make the crackle too high pitched. I have an H pipe and have thought about putting that back in ahead of my packs and would tone and even the sound down, even though I know it would eliminate a bit of crackle.
I also thought about maybe just a different muffler. But something that would be a dual in/dual out and something more of like a one chamber or race muffler design. I'm open to suggestions, but I'd like to keep it very loud while retaining some of the crackle yet.

I'd tell u ditch the shorts and go LTs, they make great power. Im runnin a small case Magnaflow which I just recently got on, LTs, no cats and just that muffler. Its a step below from running the straight pipe like I was and it sounds amazing in my opinion without sacrificing my low end which I realized was suffering terribly. So I'd tell u to do the Magnaflow. I hate my flowmaster
