I'm looking to add headers to my 2011 6.2 Sierra. Other than switching to kooks or ARH, what are my option to retain the factory cat-back connection.

I would like to add a set of pacesetters with their 3" Y-pipe. Does anyone have a source for the factory y-pipe connection? Other than finding one at a junk yard and cutting it up. I do not want to hack up my factory y-pipe.

I can have a local buddy do the cutting and welding, just need to source the connection.

Anyone have a source at kooks or ARH? Maybe they will sell those connections.

 

3 inch pacesetter y pipe with a 3 to 3.5 inch adapter to go to your stock cat back with a v band clamp

3 to 3.5 Adapter is $10 at summit

 

ya the reducer is the easy part, what I'm wondering is the factory just a 3.5" V-band?

 

No it's not a factory v band
You can weld v band flanges on so both the stock and pacesetter Y pipe will interchange if needed

 

Ya that's probably going to be my only option
