Default Looking for advice about 5.3

I have a 5.3 laying around and I going to bore it out to a 5.7 and forged it all. I need some help for what parts to use because I going to make it twin turbo and I want to now if CNC 6.0 truck heads will work and does anyone now what cc the heads are.

Thanks

317 casting aluminum heads are 72cc if memory serves. What CR are you shooting for? Some of the math wizards will chime in and tell you better than me about CR and piston/head selection.

Stock 6L heads are 72cc but if they are cnc'ed they could be up to 78cc. You need to find out who cut them and see what combustion chamber size they are. Once you find out the combustion chamber size then get the right dished pistons to get the CR you want. 9:1 is a bit high for twins and high boost might want to shoot for 8.5:1 or so.

Turbos are inherently easy on parts when compared to nirous and superchargers. I have an eagle crank in my 418 and am going to be going for 20+ psi and from what I have read on tech they will work fine. Stock cranks are hitting 1000rwhp no reason an eagle cant since its even forged and the stock crnak is cast.

Thinks it will be really hard and big $$$$$ to go up against parish truck.
His truck is awesome!!!! would like to see him break 9' soon.
it's not that simple to put out that much HP and not breaking things every 50 miles!!Best parts are only parts, need good engine builder and tuner to make it right.
