Default Looking to add horsepower and torque?

I have a '04 Z71 that I just put a 6in lift kit on it, with 35x12.50x16 mud tires. It has a stock 5.3 liter. I was wondering about a cold air intake or a thottle body spacer, or maybe both. Any ideas?

i have a K&N FIPK, but airaid intakes are great too. and if you dont want to dish out all that cash for a whole now system, you can buy the intake tube from airaid and buy the heat shield with filter from ebay.

and if you are just looking for little cheap mods to do, a hooker muffler would also help.

The only thing I can see a spacer good for something is for nitrous injection. You wouldn't have to drill into any factory pieces and have the ability to return to stock pretty easily.

Get a quality intake, some mid or long tube headers, and an exhaust. Got more money? Get a cam. And/Or even change the rear gearing..

To make it all work together... A good tune. So for less then $2000 you could add some ~40HP, and an equal amount of TQ. Not too bad if you ask me.

I had a TB spacer in my 01 5.3 and It didnt do diddly squat! I did like the small whistle noise it made tough! Like mentioned above a good PCM tune, some long tubes with exhaust and e-fans.Gears would really help you runin those size tires maybe 4:10's. I like AEM Brute Cold Air kit! This would be some simple bolt-ons for your truck!
