Default longtubes

What will i need to keep stock cats and put some pacesetter longtubes in ? been told by several shops they wont fit and relocating stock cats is a pain.

You'd have to chop the cats out of the stock Y pipe and even then I don't even know how you'd weld the 2.25" pipe on the cats to the 3" Y pipe. My recommendation is to buy some 3" Magnaflow 59959 center spun metallic cats.

Any muffler shop should have a 3" to 2.5" reducer. I say don't waste any more $$$ than you have to. Have the stock cats chopped off and runn them in a custom Y pipe. Thats what i would do. It's a truck so you have gobbs of room under there to do whatever you want, not like F bodies.
